If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.
We provide our own emergency cover 24hrs a day 365 days a year, so no matter what time of day or night you will always be greeted with a familiar and friendly face, and at the time when you need it most, you can contact a vet you know and trust.

Please remember that any calls outside of our opening hours will be transferred through to our emergency phone answering service. This is a phone answering service only, your pet will still be attended in an emergency by one of the vets at Stoven Hall. The answering service will take all your details including name, address, pets details and most importantly a contact telephone number for you, and will then notify Katrina or Sally (one of our vets) whom will prompty call you back. Once you have contacted the clinic out of hours, please ensure your phone is able to receive an incoming call from one of our vets, and is not for example, engaged, or through to voicemail.
In the rare event that you are unable to contact us by phone for an emergency, we have a pager service which operates 24hrs a day 7 days a week. This is for emergancies only not routine calls. In an emergency if you cannot reach us by phone, please phone the pager number 07623984310 and follow the instructions. The on call vet will then be paged with your details, and promptly phone you back.
Polite reminder: Please do not use the emergency service for routine enquiries such as booking appointments, ordering repeat prescriptions or cancelling appointments. A non urgent call could delay a genuine emergency call being processed and attended.
